Where are Carey’s Berry’s grown and harvested?
All our berries are grown organically on our family farm just outside Burns Lake, BC.
Do you offer seasonal berry picking events?
Yes, we host berry picking during peak harvest months. Updates on availibility will be psoted on this web site.
Can I freeze berries?
Yes you can. We can also freeze dry them. Freeze drying also bring out the flavour profile of each berry and is an excellent way to add flavour and vitamins to things like ice cream or salads.
Can I bring young kids with me?
Absolutley, We love family. Bringing your kids is a great experience for you and the littles. We can explain different berries, where they come from, how they are grown and can show some of the machinery and steps involved.
What do I need to bring?
Just yourselves and a container to collect the berries. Some may choose to wear small gloves to help avoid the natural protective spikes on the various plants.
